The food came out extremely fast, and the fries had a deliciously crispy outside. Comfortable booths and open layout. Chicken needs to be dialed in a bit more because it made the pita soggy.
Fantastic Reuben. Wife brought as a carry out, sandwich in great shape after a 25 minutes in a styrofoam box. Top still crispy; quick microwave and refry in a pan, good as new. And it was Good. Sy Ginsberg corned beef was lean and tender and very flavorful. Bread had great crisp grill and nice subtle rye flavor. Definitely a high quality sandwich, surprised to find it was from a neighborhood diner.
Always a great breakfast. The service here is fabulous. I nice diner on Woodward to get a little bit of everything. They have hearty chicken noodle soup, but I usually stick with breakfast served all day. Very reasonably priced. Nice parking lot.
I love this place. Started coming here when I started bringing my mom to her ovarian cancer support group - One to One. The group comes here for dinner after their meetings. The service is excellent because it's a team based approach. What do I like to order? * The pork chops! They do crazy good moist pork chops here. * Grilled cheese - Like my mom used to make! * Sweet Potato fries are fat with lots of sweet potato. Not too much fried part on the outside. With honey mustard they are really tasty. * Side salad with ranch - I think they make their own ranch dressing which is very yummy. The side salad has romaine lettuce with cucumbers and tomatoes. * Several if the women in my mom's support group order the soups, the Michigan Salad and the strawberry covered waffles. Enjoy!
This is what an old school diner looks like! Friendly service, unpretentious food made correctly and served attractively. Dependable. So glad we discovered this beautiful gem. It's a joy to dine here when we're in the mood for comfort food served with a smile.
